John 20:19-31 “But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nail marks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Thanks, Roc. Touching and meaningful. I have used Dan’s Faith – Doubt – Certainty, and people look at me like I have a hole in my head! But I “get it”, and you and he have helped me on my journey with that reflection. Easter Peace. Listening, I had the thought that someone should save that recording and play it for Nicholas to listen to and think about as he nears his First Eucharist!

Thanks, Roy, yeah, I liked Dan’s distinction the first time I heard it. What is so hard to understand about it? Maybe because it’s so counter-intuitive. It does go against the grain. So, I’m glad to have footnoted him! And, yes, perhaps Nicolas might be able to handle that bit of insight before First Eucharist. Let me know! –roc,sj
