JPS – “The Last Sermon” 8-29-15

DSC_0120

Fr. John Schlegel, SJ, pastor of the Church of the Gesu from 2014-2015, delivered his last sermon on the 22nd Sunday of Ordinary Time, August 29, 2015. Actually, he delivered several “last sermons” before officially resigning as pastor in early September.

Many of us who were there at the Mass found this to be one of his more moving and personal homilies. I hope you find that and more.

John moved to Omaha, NE on October 12th to enter hospice where he resides today.
