Chapter One is by far the most dense of all the chapters in my book... Welcome back to study hall!
Where does the term “paschal” come from? Linguistic sources show a confluence of Greek, Hebrew, Latin, Old Norman, and French that means “Easter.” There is also an undertow from Greek that ties in “to suffer.” Voila = paschal deals with death and resurrection!
Next, the passage from Philippians 2 offers a jumping off point to delve into some powerful meanings of “paschal mystery.”
